Grief and LossGrief is a natural response to loss, which can sometimes be overwhelming. We all experience loss at some point in our lives and we respond in our own unique way. There are many ways loss can be experienced including bereavement, divorce & separation, redundancy, retirement, miscarriage and pet loss. |
AnxietyAll of us will have experienced anxiety at some point in our lives, and maybe more so in the last couple of years. It is a normal response to stressful events that can occur, however there may be times when the response feels greater than what we expect or what we are used to. This feeling can be challenging; however, it can be managed. If this sounds like you, then perhaps you could benefit from therapy. |

FAQsHow long is a session?
Each session will last 50 minutes.
What happens in the first session?
In the first session, I will take some details to register you as a client, discuss confidentiality and the limitations to confidentiality with you. This session is an opportunity for you to discuss what is happening at the moment, to ask questions about the therapeutic process and to gauge if you feel comfortable working with me.
How many sessions will I need?
It is different for everyone and the recommendation is to attend a minimum of six sessions of counselling to benefit from the process. However, the number of sessions you require depends on your individual needs and the complexity of the issues disclosed. You are ultimately the best judge and will quite likely know when you feel ready to finish counselling.
What is your cancellation policy?
If you need to cancel a session please provide 48 hours notice, otherwise a cancellation fee will be charged.
What payment methods do you accept?
I accept all major debit and credit cards, as well as bank transfers and cash payments.
